Quit Claim Deed

I have been asked to notarize a quit claim. I have never done one before and could use some helpful hints on it. Apparently there are 3 people on the deed, father, daughter and son-in-law. The father has all of his affairs in trust but when they bought this property, they didn't put his name in trust. So they want to get it changed so that his third will be in trust. TIA for any advice you can give on this situation.

The son in law and daughter will be the signers. I guess you should check their ID's.

The 3 people still want to be on the deed its just the father's name that they need changed to his trust. I am still learning some of my notorial duties but I do know that I would check their ID but thanks for any other info that anyone can give me.

The document should be completed before they present it to you for notarizing. The grantors will sign and you will notarize their signatures. Are they asking you for advise in filling it out?
