RESPA Sign-up's

I received an e-mail from a signing company about offering RESPA Sign-up's. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these? It sounds pretty easy but haven't read too much about this offer. It says that lenders are no longer wanting to mail the loan package out and wait for the boorwer to sign everything - they want the notaries to go out and have them sign the papers in front of them.

I like them also but the companies I have done them for I do not pay to sign up.

They have recently started contacting me as well. I have done 3 RESPAs for them so far. It is too soon to tell if there is going to be a payment issue but I did NOT contact them. They contacted me so I never had to pay a "fee". The "fee" won't even be an issue if they don't pay. Anyone else worked for them lately?

Not lately: the one and only I did for them took 5-7 months (I think, it was a long time and I had to fight for it) to pay.
You may want to research the company here, with the search key.

I did "search" but nothing really came up lately. I didn't find it on the "NO No" list. There has to be more people that have been contacted and more that have payment info. I am hoping for the best. Was already "stung" by Signature Plus last year.

I did 3 in a row for them about 3 months ago...

They are professional, no problem meeting my fee, docs came early and they have a professional website. On the downside, payment 45-60 days. And no I didn't pay any kind of sign up fee.

I'm curious about what other companies do these RESPA sign-ups. This is my first time hearing about it. I'm wondering if that is something that's popular in my area.
