Not to be a downer, but you probably could not have picked a worse time to get started, given the state of the real estate market right now, and the fact that anywhere in CA you are likely surrounded by hundreds of competitors. Plug your zip code into the "Find a Notary"
tab above and you will get some idea of what you're up against in terms of just numbers. I would never say never, but you need to ensure your eyes are wide open to the current realities. Don't quit your day job for quite a while to come...
