Signature Affidavit

During my review of loan docs from a signing I did last night, I noticed that the borrower signed the first line of the signature affidavit ( the one thats suppose to have his normal signature) differently then all the docs. There were 2 other variations which he signed accordingly, but he misunderstood the directions I guess. Is this going to be a problem?
I watched him sign everything but didn't realize he did that.

Could potentially be a problem, if the way he signed it is different from the way he signed the docs. He's then attesting that THAT is his legal signature, not what is on the docs. Safest course is to have him re-sign it correctly.

Did you double-check all the docs before you left the table?

I did. But I didn't notice that the signature was different

Thanks Roger. I'm meeting the borrower to resign that line in a little while. I love this forum and everyone's help!
