United Notaries in Greenwood Village Co

Do not do any closings for this company. They do not pay. I did a closing in Nov 29, 2005 and have yet to be pd, but when I call they say well if you do this closing for us tonight we will pay you for both. Okay I was born at night but not last night. Then they say the check is in the mail funny I never have received it. They wont even take my calls now. I have sent numerous emails, copies of the email confirmation and they just ignore my invoices and everything. You cannot go after somebody if you live in mD and they live in CO unless they have personal property in MD. I contacted the Judge Alex show just to see what they might say. Be aware no payment will be made from this company.

You can write to there loxal BB, Att.Generals office and also their State Secretary of State. Not for payment but for your own satisfaction with a cc to their co.

I did one about a year ago, never again. They keep calling me to do closings and I keep telling them I do not work for companies that do not pay. I got a call yesterday from them and when I gave my usual answer the scheduler basically slammed the phone down. I hope they finally got the message not to call me again!

I have 2 invoices out for Feb & Apr. I have faxed my invoice over numerous times and am consistantly told to call back to talk to accounting. Today I called and asked for accounts payable. I was snottily told to email. I then said that won't do, may I speak with Mr. Dean. Again I was snottily told to go to the website, find his email and email him. I said "that will not do....." and the snot slammed down the receiver.

I emailed Mr. Dean with one last chance to take care of my invoices and gave him until today @ 4pm to reply or I was just going to Eloan, although I prefer not to.

In 3 years I've been stiffed a few times, maybe 6-8. I've written it off as bad debt because after 2000 closings, it's just not worth my effort or time to go after the few that go unpaid. All businesses have bad debt and as a business, I accept that.

Saying that, in 3 years, I have never been nasty to anyone over the phone or hung up on them....even SOX and Signatures Plus. I just politely decline and get on with my day. Due to their rude behavior acting like "I" did something wrong, I will take this to the wall whether I get paid or not.

They sure were sweet when I took the job. :-(

I did one for them and had to really fight to get paid but finally did - and the check cleared. But like all of you, I won't work for them again.

I heve even threatened them with going to a lawyer, the bbb, and the national notary association plus all notary blogs I belong to. They still seem to not care...ughhhh they told me after 2 very upfront and to the point emails on Thursday that they were going to forward any and all emails from me to the Nat. Not. Assoc. I said go ahead because I already turned them in to them. Havent heard back from them. I wish we as notaries had some way at recourse.

Received a check for all outstanding invoices today. Providing it clears, I am paid up by this outfit. Won't be taking any from them again.

I just read this post and although I haven't posted here before, I wish I had read this sooner. I have stuff due from May and June, I've done a few jobs for them before and it ALWAYS takes forever to get paid, I think from now on, I'm done with them. This is ridiculous. I was told there's no phone number to get ahold of accounting. Yeah right. Thanks for the info everyone.
