Web Site Design

Anyone have any suggestions for a good person or company that designs web sites. I paid for my domain name and hosting server back in January of 06, and have yet to have a website built.

I actually thought I could do it myself. BIG MISTAKE. I do not have the time or computer knowledge to do so. TIA

Tia,

Checkout my website: Http://www.tiptopwebsite.com/pamrodriguez.

This website was put up a few months ago. I had previously
tried Yahoo's free website, but hated it. Tiptopwebsite
was discovered while searching the internet.

All you do is choose a plan, choose a template and off you go!
You do not need to be a computer wizard to get the job done!

Very easy to add pictures and to customize it to your own liking!

Let me know what you think!

Pamela..

Your Website is great, and you did that yourself? I was checking out the package price and #2 is very affordable at $4.95/month.

Do you get a lot of calls from your website? I have a signing in an hour, but I think I will start working on mine this evening or in the morning. When I get it completed, I will let you know. I would really appreciate our feedback. Happy Signing!

Hi Tia!

Tia,

Yes, Package 2 is the one that I have.

And Thank You Very Much! I wanted something different from the regular notary websites.

Yes, I did it by myself! Yes, I do receive many calls from this site.

Until recently, I was having trouble trying to link other sites, unless I added Http:// etc. . .
However, I asked Brenda/Tx to checkout the webpage and she brought something to my attention, that was probably preventing the links to successfully add on.
Sure enough, I made a change to the way I was adding the codes and now, I can link many sites (such as those on the introduction page)!

That's why I like Tiptopwebsite very versatile! I like Brenda too ("smile"Wink, very helpful!

If you need any help let me know!

Pam

Re: Hi Tia! Pam, I gotta know...

Are you really thinking you are writing to "Tia" or are you making a joke???

Tia means "thanks in advance."

For awhile, I thought about 60% of forum posters were named "Tia."

I am beginning to learn you do joke a lot, so this is just me trying to know!

Now...the secret oath:

HTH

Brenda,

I HONESTLY didn't know that! I have a cousin named Tia!
I know people named Tia! I worked with people named Tia!
But obviously she isn't a Tia?

LISTEN PEOPLE! IF YOU'RE NAME ISN'T TIA, THEN DON'T SIGN TIA!!!!

Makes other folks look foolish!

Okay, trying to stop laughing. . . .!!!!!!!

I feel for ya Pam... I think we all thought it at the beginning... but you are the only one to be so darn friendly about it... 'Hi Tia... I'm Pam'.

Still laughing............

Angelina, Hi! (That is your real name and not an acronym? "smile"Wink

I have being reading and responding to posts, which sign-off as Tia,
on this and other notary boards, all year. And these "Tias" have never
said a word!

Well heck, when the Anons were posting at least I knew who they were
(so to speak)!

So, if a "real" Tia comes along, and signs-off as such
(although the profile may show differently)
how would I (or anybody else) know?

From this day forward, I'm asking for a photo I.D. (current of course). ("smile"Wink

lol,

Pam

Chrystal, not TIA! lol...

It took me a long time to figure that one out. I'm still trying to figure some of the others out, but I'm afraid to ask.

Anyway, thanks for all your help. I can't wait to get my site completed, and hope it looks half as good as yours!

Re: Web Site Design Becca Wait!!!

CONTACT PAW or ANDY directly for the link to their respective referral sites.

They can earn a small commission from their referral and it will NOT cost the purchaser any more. PLEASE get the link from them directly.

Re: Web Site Design - LINK

After 7 different webhosting companies I'm more than satisfied with this one. From novice to expert level they have everything you need to be on the web without paying extra. Another major differences compared to others are that they have visual aid tutorial for every signle step needed to build a site. They have a very active forum much like NotRot where your question can be answered with many different ideas.

I started with Frontpage then got suck by ads of free web template by different hosting companies listed above. I found Vodahost by accident and have been extremely happy. Everything is free before you make your decision to host. I can help with publishing your site through the use of my subdomain so you can get feedback from others here.

Re: Web Site Design IPOWER.com

Check out this website, they help you create your website...i just signed up for the 7.95 mo plan (95$ for the year) and they have templates and everything. one of my friends is an attorney in philly and his website is done by this. (for an example check out phillyimmigration.com); the website is clean, professional looking and easy to find your way around in.
