What is up with Pinnacle Real Estate???????????
I have done one other closing for them awhile back and while they paid late, at least they paid, now I am in a full on batlle with them. "Oh the check went out yesterday." thee days later, "it went out yesterday." three days later, " IT WENT OUT." I'm sorry but it doesn't take TEN DAYS for mail to get to Colorado from California. I've turned it over to the attorney I work for (one of the perks of being a part time real estate paralegal). SO we will see. NEVER again will I take a closing form them.

They owe me a small amount (only a deed) but I wasn't paid either (over 60 days now) As soon as I mentioned I was ready to contact the lender I got an e-mail stating the check went out . If that's true, I should have it by this weekend. I'm glad that is all I did for them, now they are on my no-no list. Unfortunately the list is getting longer and longer.

I am getting the same run around and it has been 60 days.
Debra keeps saying it was mailed on such and such a date, but it never arrives. I know I am getting the run around and if I dont get the check tomorrow, out goes the Demad for Payment letter.

Yup, Debra was the one telling me the check went out, on the third time, she said she was just the scheduler and it was up to accounting.

My understanding is Dawn Evans is the office manager and
Debra Wannberg is the person I have been speaking to, not sure what her role is.

Re: My understanding is Dawn Evans is the office manager and
It is suspect that she can tell me three times that the check went out then claim she is "just a scheduler." Whatever their roles, they suck !@#. My boss wrote me up a great demand letter and said he would help collect payment. It is only for one closing but I don't work for free and it makes me mad that some of these places feel they can treat notaries this way.

This is so sad.
When I started doing signings four years ago, Pinnacle gave me so much business and they were a stellar SS. This really saddens me to hear what is going on with their agency. I don't do signings for them anymore because of their pay rate, and I have moved on, but it seems like so many good SS's have gone to the wayside. I hope they can weather this storm.
