Works form home SA
Hello all I haven't been active on almost two years. I feared that it could be longer. That is until I came across a Signing Agent that works form home. I don't have a car any longer and it may be some time before I can get one. How do you go about doing that ? This person is on the internet and now I can't send out emails until my ISP can fix it. I'm in hope that some of you wise Agents can add a little light on this for me. Detroit does have a good line of transportation bus wise. This could be option two?

I would love to respond, however I don't get the question. Could you rephrase your post?

The whole concept of using a mobile notary for loan signings is that they travel to the borrowers home. We are there for the convenience of the borrowers. When a company calls you, you can ask if the borrowers can come to you, but don't be surprised if they turn you down. Also, don't forget the liabilty issues of borrowers coming to your home. You would have to make sure you were well insured to conduct business out of your home.

Why don't you just skate there?
I think that is your best choice anyway.

I live in the Detroit area and there is no way the bus lines would accomodate the vast area of coverage for closings that I do. Besides, once a bus left you off on a busy street of the bus route you'd still have to walk the rest of the way. Also not convenient to get to your next appointment or to a Fedex drop off box.
You say you have no car and won't for awhile and now you don't have the Internet either? You are not set up for this line of work right now. Best to rethink your occupation choices.
Good luck.
