"Brenda/Tx!"
Brenda, Good Evening!
You had me laughing again! So here's to you (sung to the Yellow Rose of Texas)!
Yellow Rose of Texas (revised just for you "smile" :
There's a yellow rose of Texas, That I'm postin' to with glee,
Yep, Other notaries know her, not just me!
Quick-witted and thoughtful, Brenda's funny as can be,
Though educated and compassionate a fool she is not.
This Texas filly really knows her laws and will politely quote them on the spot (asked to or not).
So you may talk about your signing agents and other closer-ies, But this Yellow Rose of Texas, is cool, Yesseree!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Going to the Orange County Fair!
lol,
Pam
Re: "Brenda/Tx!" Dang, Pam...
I feel obligated to say, "Yee Haw."
LOL...I'll betcha a cup of coffee that the Orange Cty Fair in California is a far cry from the one in Orange Cty, Texas.
Glad you liked it!
The Yellow Rose of Texas is an old favorite of mine.
I am heading out the door as we speak. I've been trying to go there for over a week now, but it's just been soooooooooo hot!
Will talk to you later!
Re: "Brenda/Tx!"At the fair in Pomona
Ah..The Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona. I grew up there in the 50s and 60s and used to go there as a wee lad (they used to give free admission tickets to the elementary school children). At that time, the big attraction was the monorail...not riding on top like at Disneyland, but hanging off the rail BELOW the track. Big doings in those days..."Those were the days my friend...we thought they'd never end...we'd sing and dance...forever and a day...we lived the life we choose...we'd fight and never loose...but we were young...and sure to have our ways...." (where is Mary Hopkins now that we need her)...Oh well, so much for nostalgia...back to reality and the 110 degree weather here in the beautiful desert. Enjoy y'all "Bless your little hearts" "Doc"
OT - County Fairs...In Texas
We do these in the fall...wonder why the difference? October is when our fairs happen. Are you guys heavily into agricultural events at your fair. OMG SarahBeth, you are in for some interesting changes. Ya'll better get you a steer calf and start raising it....or you'll never be anybody in that new place of yours!! LOL.
