and it will be a 90 min rural drive...but it will be worth it because it's a good title company client who was in a bind for a rev mort closing.

Usually I refer people in my network to go but this time, it's in a zone where there is no one...it's a holiday situation and I want the LO to keep asking for us *first* in Texas. They will...I know they will as long as we can provide the coverage.

Call me the "quote higher fees" gal, but I am not dumb...I don't want them calling an SS for this one time little occurrence so I am going to put in a book on tape, enjoy the scenery and keep this LO and title company thinking of us by literally going the extra mile and doing the job for them without asking for a whole lot over the $xxx.xx base...plus, I get to chat it up with the LO again...plus I get to "do them a favor."

Pick your battles my friends...I call this a good chance to market and show loyalty to a great paying client.

Miracle: I was available AND the docs were just DELIVERED! WOO WOOO!!

Yes, that sounds like a plan in place. Excellent marketing strategy.....it's all in how you view the glass of water, half full or half empty. I'm on a break from cleaning and I take my braks on NOTROT...but I have folks at the school district say to me all the time, "I don't see how you make that drive every day" I first well it's not everyday it is 182 days a year, huge difference here. I'm off almost half of a year. I've done the job for so long it iS second nature to me. I run the program alone, I'm unsupervised and I basically have not pressure except towards the end of the year.
It was the same way when I lived 50 miles away in my old house, I'd throw the kids in the car and head up this mountain looking for property. I just knew one day I'd own a home here and live among nature and the wildlife. Once again folks would say your going to drive all the way up there to look at houses. I'd say absolutely.....I always saw it and most things that may seem tedious to others as my adventure.....

This just goes to show if the lenders can get the docs out in plenty of time when we have a holiday weekend and they are going to be off they can sure get the docs out during others times, in a more timley fashion......

I often get my documents early. I have one on Monday and I got the documents on Friday . . love this title company! They are one of my favorites!! And I get a lot of Citibank HELOC's early as well . . Of course most of my edocs come same day and sometimes at time of scheduled closing or a couple of hours before.
