I am a two state SA. Would you use two journals or one? Journal not required ln either state

I would use two, one for each state. Neither state requires a journal, but it might help your record-keeping to only have to go through a state-specific journal if you ever need to look up a past notarization.

In Michigan, although we are not required to keep a journal, I do. At the end of my commission, it's my understanding that I have to turn in the journal to the State. If you have to do that, you'd best keep two.
