I want to just mention how disappointed I am in the few folks(fellow notaries on this board) that found it necessary to forward e-mails to the above ss. Did you find it a must to kiss their behinds hoping you'd get paid, only looking out for yourself. You know who you are and you should be ashamed, don't send me anymore e-mails, you are as much a crook as the ss is.......
Boards members trust no one......it would appear many are only out for themselves, they offer no fellow notary support.....Don't you see you are being used.....

Erin I got your phone message I will not be returning your call, your message in itself states your a?? kissing to the ss that has stiffed many. I happen to be in Oregon at the moment attending my son's graduation from OSU. However let me just ask, you don't call it back stabbing when you a fellow notary on this board responding quickly to my post of Above and and Beyond agreeing with my thoughts on the company's poor pay performance and then forward follow notary e-mails about this company back to the ss and yes I do have the e-mail how else would I have quoted your exact words that you yourself stated you said in the voice mail you left me yesterday on my cell. Sad to say, but just because a person is a notary does not mean they are trustworthy. Of course as humans we want to believe all people we meet or come across are good people and trustworthy; but not true.

Be careful who you share your info with and business ideas, etc. I have been burned and it really stinks. Especially when you think the peson is a real friend.

I have been in my office all day to day (work) - it is report day. We cannot seem to get cellular service inside that bldg for whatever reason. Sometimes my voice mails take a while to "travel" to me when my phone has been off.

I have no data on this Erin--none except what I responded to.

I don't know why people would publish information not relevent to the
profession in their advertising.
That's like my advertising our transportation company and putting a picture of

Call me naive but I never cease to be amazed when I'm presented with people like this. It just floors me! People will do just about anything for their own gain... other than work hard of course! I was presented with this statement. A notary had a bad experience with an SS and they posted about it on the forum in a general way. Certain notaries asked for more info so she sent them an Email. One of these Emails was forwarded by one of these notaries to the SS which possibly included an additional note to earn said notary brownie points with the SS. The SS... or someone at the SS... made the original notary aware of the tattler.

When I posted my post... that's all I knew. If this situation is what it was originally purported to be... I stand by my original opinion of whoever would do such a thing. When I posted, your name had not come up as of yet.

So... my opinion stands. And if you are that person... then it is an opinion of you. If you are not that person... then it is NOT an opinion of you.

I understand the desire and need to deal with this and see this Email. I do not have nor did I ever have the first Email or any other. My comment was only ever in response to an 'invisible backstabber'.

That being said... you are going a little frantic on the posting here considering the fact that many posts that you are consistently referring to were posted BEFORE your name was ever 'mentioned'.

NOBODY likes to be falsely accused or implicated... I'm sure that we are all rational people here and I for one still subscribe to old 'innocent until proven guilty' addage. (except in OJ's case) and I'm sure that if you wait a little bit... this will all work itself out... and I sincerely hope it does.

This is all I can say

LkA posted a week or so ago about that particuar co. 's payment problem.
Some wanted to see the resolution.
She didn't want to post the email on forum, but did forward it to some
inquiring minds who requested it.
Apparently some people who she did share this with went right back to the SS.
Did you request/get a copy of the email?
Do you do business with Above and Beyond?
Did you send them an email?
Maybe you did something you didn't realize was wrong.
It has been my experience that some notaries that you share confidential
information with (in order to help them) will sometimes go after an offending SS
to act on behalf of the slighted notary, trying to help THEM, when that really isn't their place.
We all like to handle our own business affairs.
I don't even know if that is what happened, but it is a scenario to give you the benfit of the doubt.
I'm sure LkA will be glad to offer you her "evidence".

messages and found no e-mails to SS that had any info forwarded from my dear accuser so maybe she is confused. I can forgive this. This is one of the prime reasons I choose to rarely post any longer.

Erin you have asked for the e-mail more than once. There has certainly been opportunity for LkArrowhd (or someone who has a copy of the e-mail) to forward to you the e-mail in question. I don't know if you are the bad guy or not. Furthermore, the participants in this thread don't know either. IMO, it's a bunch of BUSYBODY people jumping onto this bandwagon on hearsay only, i.e., spelled RUMOR. Until you have been given proof of what you are being accused of, stop stooping to their level.

Keeping it real about LkA...

This board has been a place where venting has been done. What started this thread was a vent. We all vent here and threads go crazy. So what.

If you don't like it, don't read it. Too much focus is given to how "professionals act," or should not act while visiting on this board about our busineses...as if *any* of us know what is professional in a place we've only visited.

This forum my "water cooler." I share the good and the bad here. LkA is no different. If I cannot find out about where Barbara's going on vacation or how Charm is feeling I'll go read textbooks rather than read this forum. I still remember that Tina's principal used to let her come sit in her chair when she acted up in elementary school! The PERSONALITIES make this a place to VISIT. That's what really drives us here.

Every personality who posts will eventually get their butts in a crack. As Carolyn says it's why she seldom posts. I just don't let that get to me. Real life is not so easily ignored. And, you guys are a big part of my REAL life. I am not ashamed to admit it. If someone told me to get "get a life" I'd say - he77, I have one - read NotaryRotary.com. I ENJOY people who do what I do. (Those 3-D folks get in my way sometimes! LOL)

I have come to know LkA (orignal vent poster) over the last few months. She's not a woman who is easily provoked into venting in the scope of which we are looking through in this post.
She's pretty laid back.

She vented and that's unusual as heck. She's opinionated (aren't we all) but she is not a liar in my experience and if she says someone sent her an email FROM that signing service (Above and Beyond) and if she says it was sent to her as if EW wrote to Above and Beyond to tattle, then I believe it happened.

LkA is not from Florida - she is in CA. She has no reason to be upset with EW except what is stated in this thread.

This is kind of hard to unravel, but here it is. Awhile back LkA told this board if they wanted to see her experience with Above and Beyond to let her know. I requeted and got THAT email from LkA. Someone who got THAT email by REQUEST sent it to Above and Beyond in a double-cross (DC)maneuver. Someone sent the "DC" email to LkA and it was "apparently" to Above and Beyond from EW. (I have NOT seen that email.)

IMHO, if LkA said this is what happened, I believe it's what happened.

If she chooses not to respond to someone who feels DC'd her then that's her privilege. Sometimes it's better to cut your losses and refuse to involve yourself further. (I wish I had that much sense...but this post will show you I do not.)

IMHO If EW did not do it, then someone else DID do it under her name.

And, whoever did it was not a nice person to say the least.

Mistarella asked some very pointed questions which have never been answered. EW chose not to answer whether or not she requested the email from LkA. If she did not, then LkA would have contacted EW and said "someone is playing games with your name."

If EW did not forward LkA's original email she shared back to Above and Beyond in a DC maneuver, then a simple denial on this board would have gotten the point across.

If it were me, and if I did not get a response from LkA after one email or a couple of posts, I would have read the thread, gotten the point and called my contact at Above and Beyond and asked them "who's using my name and DC'ing another notary." Then, I would have posted a response here.

Bashing LkA does not change history. Something happened. A California notary does not have any reason to get annoyed or angry with a FL notary for no reason. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

I just wanted to keep it real on what happened so that we don't start bashing someone who when prompted to share the name of a person she feel DC'd her (at Calinotary's and Mistarella's urging) she did so. It was at their urging she did this to warn the rest of us. C'mon...she did not say WHO it was at first!! People ought to back her up a little on this.

Many responded to that BEFORE it was ever stated that EW was the one who did this.

LkA is *not* a villain here. She was a victim. If EW did not do it, then she's a victim of being DC'd by someone also. EW needs to go back to the ss where the DCing email came from and was sent to LkA under EW's name. (At least that is what I would do.)

If EW would have read the thread she would have seen exactly how to get herself out of this predicament and to go straight to the source who sent the DCing email with her name on it to Lka.

As far as I am concerned LkA does not have to put up or shut up. She did put up and that's that. EW should contact the company if she cares. Letting it die would have been the very best option.

This WILL absolutely be my last response in this thread. There is a lot of wrong in this picture that burns my butt. There appears to be a lot of people that have been made privy to the e-mail in question. I'm not even convinced that there is an e-mail, but for the benefit of the doubt, if there is, the SS had no business forwarding it, and if they did, then it became a private matter between Susan and Erin that should have taken place through e-mails and/or phone conversations, with Susan initiating same.

I don't know who the victim is and I don't even care. However, I do believe that if someone is going to be publically drug through the trash, with everyone jumping onto the bandwagon, that it is the people doing the dragging that need to put up or shut up and not the accused being advised to contact the SS to get to the bottom of it.

This person scanned her own emails and drew a conclusion, over-reacted, drug my name down(no harm done, really, I am so busy I call fellow notaries in the area and give biz away), surely realized the mistake and cannot produce the evidence, her little blue dress so to speak, so continues to play the part of the martyr, and won't face me. She is very Susan Lucci. Now I am making it a fun little part of my day to reward her talent. Just a tasty little diversion. Mess with a Wall, end up on the floor. This is just fun now. Woo Hoo!!
