Brother MFC 8440 Printer Problem
Before I call in for a service request, I wanted to see if someone else may have had this problem. I've been using my printer quite a bit for some other stuff lately.
I had a few paper jams and got all the paper out okay. Now, the printer seems to be out of alignment. The page prints completely but it doesn't come all the way out like it should. Then I get a paper jam message. I even tried having it come out of the back of the printer and that was okay for awhile but it is also doing the same thing now. The printer seems to think the pages are shorter sized and doesn't feed the sheet all the way out. Again, the print on the page is where it should be. Any ideas before I call? TIA

I've had some problems paper jams (who hasn't?) but nothing like your problem. Mostly if I have paper sitting in trays a few days & forget to "fan it" before starting new prints. Go to your Brother website (should be in your hardrive) for problem solving. Contact them, they've been pretty good about responses.

Maybe: Make sure the correct paper size is indicated in the Properties page. If you are using legal paper and it's set for letter size, you may have that problem, I think.
