Has anyone else had a problem with getting paid from "California Notary Inc." aka "C.N.I."?

It's been OVER 2 months since I did a signing for them, I called a little more than 2 weeks ago and they said payment was put through the system (AFTER I spoke with them). However, I still have not been paid.

I left another message yesterday, but they have yet to call back.

Is this a No, No Company?

A definite HECK NO! They will take as long as they can before they pay you. I finally sent a letter promising to call the lender, title company, BBB and the Calif. A.G. if I didn't receive a check by a certain date. Oh my, I got a check by that date!!!!
Good luck

This company took forever to pay me, until like rengel, I threatened them with everything including calling the borrower. They had every excuse in the book. Work on them every day and don't let up. I don't know how these people stay in business. Good Luck!

Thanks for the responses and I will get on top of them.

I saw that both of you responded from CA, which is where this company is based. Did you ever want to just walk in the office and be like, "Hey, what the *#@%, where the *#@% is my money?"

I'm in NY, and haven't really done any business with any signing co's in NY, but if I were not to be paid by one, I'd show up at the office face-to-face with the invoice in hand.

Thanks again for your feedback Smile
