Countrywide loans usually only have one page to notarize which is the DOT. They are not complicated just a lot of wasted paper, with anywhere form 20-35 pages of closing instructions. Be sure to use blue ink!

The ones I've done are very easy, if you don't have a lot of fax backs. Just bring a bunch of blue ink pens.

Very easy to follow (thick) pack.....

Did you catch the "Remember to use Blue Ink"?

Re: Countrywide - despise those closing instructions

I mean...it's a BOOK, complete with a table of contents!!

Are you kidding me...when wearing my title officer hat, all I care about is page 11. That's the title instructions and what endorsements to issue. Frankly, I throw out the other 32 pages; makes my file too fat.

One day, underwriting will catch up with me, until then, down with the BOOK of closing instructions!
