Fees for CA Notaries

Hello,

I have asked to help a company with doing their trust signings. I honestly have devoted the last 2 years to loan signings and not worked with trusts. What are notaries in CA charging to do a trust signing? Would you consider this comparable to a loan signing fee??

the ones I get pay more, I charge a travel fee and there are usually alot of documents to be notarized, at ten dollars per signature. The best thing is the signer pays right then.

I charge $10 per notarized signature plus travel/service fee. Seniors and Military get 10% discount.

Do you discount the travel fee or the signature fee? Either way you carry extra $1 bills Smile

I discount the total amount, but on my books I allow the full $10/signature - so the travel fee is less.

For the past 5 years I have waived my travel fee for Seniors in the OB/Point Loma area. Yeah I know, it's a $10 house call. That service is part of my advertisement in the OB Local Merchant Directory.
