Finally, I'm started.
Okay, I have finally worked up enough courage to begin setting up my new Garmin GPS. As some of you may know, I am technically challenged, so I probably am going to have to ask for guidance as I go through this process. The first question is:
How do I get the cellophane wrapper off my map CD?

Lighter fluid and a match works really quickly. If that is not a good option email it to me and I'll open it with my table saw.
Just trying to help but this may be one of the times my wife says " Sometimes you are VERY trying...

Dynamite or C-4 works great for opening CDs.

Carlos/nyc inquies:
>>did you have drinks with that guy that turned in Lee Harvey Oswald yet?<<
No, I haven't. It went like this:
Drink with good-looking nurse...drink with hairy-legged refugee from 1960s history books
Drink with nurse with 250 watt smile...drink with codger with bad breath
Drink with nurse who is quite social...drink with old fart on Social Security
Drink with nurse...drink with old fart.
Recall the old joke: Did you hear about the nurse who could make the patient without disturbing the bed?
Drink with the nurse it is.

CDs means "Child devices" Only children know how to open these things! Give it to any child, it will be opened before it leaves your hands. Give it to an adult, well... we see you need help, so we know the results of an adult having a CD....
This I have found out from many years of doing technical support.
And that thing that pops out on your computer, it is NOT a cup holder!
