GPS Systems.
I know there has been much talk of GPS products, which one is best, which one has the most for your $. With that in mind, I'm wondering if anyone has a GPS on their phone? I have been researching this a little and have discovered Verizon offers GPS on certain phones. Not being one for keepiing up on trends and not having the need keep up with the Jones', I recently have found the need for some type of Navigation system, as Mapquest let me down BIG Time. Can't justify buying a new car right now with one and thought this might be good alternative.

I can't give you any information on the telephone but I can suggest trying google instead of mapquest or use both.

I have never had a problem with Mapquest before and I never have used Google. Perhaps I will need to use both, one to check the other. How frustrating this was and it cost me atleast 45 mins. in travel time.

I have a Garmin 2620 and love it! Would be literally lost in the job without it. I paid $900 two years ago. I'm sure they're less exspensive now. They also have lower-end models with only local areas programmed into them. Mine covers the entire USA.

I have used a TomTom GO for over a year and love it. It has only let me down a few times and this is with new neighborhoods that are not in the map database yet. I do print a map for backup and I usually go with Microsoft Streets & Trips as it has a good route planner and I can use it even if my Internet connection should go down.

I have the Garmin 2620 and I agree with the other poster don't know how I did my job w/o it. It has always gotten me home. And if the address is in the sysytem it will always get me there.
