Granville County, NC ROD
Had to go there this morning to record a DT and do a title search. I've never been to this quaint little town (Oxford) before. I have to say that the ROD was about the most pleasant elected official I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They are a very old fashioned ROD, their index in on computer but all the documents are in actual books. She unlocked the books for me, made my copies, and was just genuinely nice and friendly. Not like she had to be, just because she is that way. She then gave me directions to the tax office. I normally just don't care to go the the ROD's that often, but I think I'll add Granville County to my list of counties I abstract in, even though it is an hour away, it was that pleasant.
Just wanted to say something nice today. This made a not so great morning turn into a good day.
