I havent heard of this one, but last year, in Point, we had one of those. Its called a wind sheer. We were up north and came back to the east side of point tore up from one of these. You could literally follow the path it took. It uprooted huge trees, tore up sidewalks, and bent or broke off the tops of trees. It overturned a trailor by the UW. Our neighbors said it was just a white haze very sudden and very strong for about 2 minutes. They said you couldnt see anything. I was just amazed at the big trees it had uprooted in the Schmeekle Reserve. From what I understand it is a straight line of intensity that doesnt circulate like a tornado, but is a strong as one.
