I Had Forgotten What It Was Like............................
Got a late call on the road for a last minute one. I thought I heard her say: 20 pages, $60. I also thought they were someone else. Got home. It was 120 pages! $60 for e-docs! And I'm sure they actually get takers for this sort of thing. I got them to make it $100 "only because we're in a bind" and went to it. They bugged me the whole time. Numerous calls: " Did we say that we wanted blue ink?" Yes, only 5 times. " The recission date is....., " we want blue ink............." etc, etc, etc................ I would go nuts working for an outfit like this. But they're making the owners rich, aren't they?

Just say NO to lowballers...
I just got a call from LFC asking if I was available tonight. I said yes and asked what fee they were paying. Scheduler say $90, I say oh no, my fee is $XXX. Scheduler asks why? I say because that is my fee.
With all the money LFC is saving by lowering fees you would think that they would upgrade the quality of their junk docs. I'm embarrassed to present LFC's junk docs.

Becca
Their junk docs look as if they have been copied over and over and over for years. You'd think they would have an original somewhere to send or at least re-copy.

I got a call last Thursday, and darn it, didn't catch the name of the SS. She said that since it was a "rush" she would give me $100 instead of their usual $75... for edocs. I told her that I charge $150 for e-docs. She stammered for about 45 seconds and I said, would you like to get an approval and call me back? She said yes. When she called back she told me that thay had NEVER paid ANY notary that much but would just this once. BUT..... it would have to be a perfect signing and no mistakes and that she was really concerned that I knew what I was doing and there could be no mistakes, and... and... and.... in a very fast speaking, nervous tone of voice. I told her that I really wasn't feeling comfortable about working with them and that perhaps she should find another notary for this job. I always do best when I go with my gut. Rhonda

Good call. From the way you describe it, something was up with this one.
