I feel pretty good about myself right now

I got an excellent compliment from a TC I wanted to share....
Got a call from a TC I work with, (thanks to a referral from another notary here).
I have completed about 10 for them in the last 6 weeks or so.
He had a problem client outside my "normal" area this PM.
They pay well, so I agreed. (forget the SS calls tonight)
I'm on my way, he calls to inform me of a few problems with the paperwork,
and I tell him no problem, thanks for the heads up, I'll explain it to her.
Brw was concerned, but was satisfied with my explanation.
I called him (TC guy) after the appt. ended, to give him a requested courtesy
call. I told him what has transpired, and told him this was a piece of cake, everything
signed, sealed and on the way to the drop box.
Originally we agreed upon $200, but he asked me to bill him for $275,
and that he was so grateful to find me, that I was
1 in a million, because most of the SA's he deals with wouldn't have been able to
satisfactorily explain the discrepancy. He said I was a true professional, and wanted
me to know I was appreciated because it was apparent to him and the lender
that I was one out of a few that actually had taken the time to learn about
the profession and the processes involved.
He also said that many SA's would have advised the brw NOT TO SIGN due to the
discrepancy on the HUD.
I am soooo glad I do my homework! Everyone should!
OK, Brenda, now we can talk about you! LOL j/k

Misty, congratulations! Just as long as you clearly understand it is truly all about Brenda...you'll be happy (better yet, so will she).

Joking aside, good job. I've got a bit of a change of venue at my TC and I'm now occupying an office with all the escrow officers (closers). My word, you have no idea how much I've learned and am so appreciative of...sitting in with these professionals and overhearing their conversation.

Congrats on your accomplishments and skills!!

The title speaks volumes. MKIA does have the goods and anyone who's smart will take MKIA's posts to heart and head.

MKIA is Brenda's new moniker. Anybody concur?? I think it's very cool!
