Interesting reequests for funny money PITTSBURGH PA
I received a call about 30 minutes ago from a company that I failed to catch the name, my apologies. The male on the other end of my line, requested that I travel 45 min to his office to pick up documents for a Purchase, then travel 45 min to the closing location, then travel 45 min. back to his office, returning the documents once completed. I informed him of my fees for both a standard overnight package and email docs which are very reasonable. I would think that for this type of request, he would understand that there would be additional charges, considering the additional travel time. However, this was not the case. He quoted a fee that rhymes with thrifty.
Of course I turned it down; however, I am just curious to know if anyone else in my area or any area for that matter has received requests as such and if the money was funny.
