Lender docs address wrong - Broker correct

I couldn't get a hold of anyone to see what I they would have me do, so I had the borrower line out the street name, spell it correctly and initial it.

I wonder what will come of it. A resign perhaps?

Ooh. EB. Not sure. So, like the note and mortgage--all that stuff had incorrect borrower address? If so, did you ask them to verify if the legal description of the property was correct?

I wasn't sure. Not my problem though. I contacted everyone (lender, title co, broker) and all I got was voice mail. There was no legal description of the property, just address.

I got the docs signed and if they need a resign, oh well. I'd rather have them signed first and let them decide from there.

The borrower and I looked up the other street name on the property appraiser site to make sure that address did not exist though.
