MI legislation--update to PA238 signed

As of 5/26/06 it's official. In Michigan, if you are notarizing within the county you were commissioned AND --HERE IS THE CATCH -- the county is stated on the document, you no longer have to include the statement "Acting in the county of ______". Be careful though. When I asked about this at the Lansing SOS office, the impression I got was that they weren't too happy about this. The comment was that the county is not always listed on the document.
