N/M??
Please forgive my ignorance but what does "n/m" stand for?

You're not the first to ask and I'm sure you won't be the last. I have trouble with acronyms so I understand.
When someone posts something in the subject line but nothing in the body, it automatically puts the letters n/m meaning no message so the reader doesn't bother to click on it to find no text.

Oh I see, I thought it was some type of notary slang I haven't picked up on. "lol"<<<I least I know what that means.
Thank you.

stands for notary mania
When the NNA whips new notaries into a frenzy thinking they're all going to be millionaires, that's n/m, notary mania! It can also be used as a noun, "I'm a notary maniac!"
