Need help on a Interspousal Deed

We have been called to do this signing and was wondering what it is? I have never heard of it and need to know if I am right that I need two credible witnesses. It is set for 8 tonight PST Thank you for your help.

Credible witnesses are only needed when the persons whose signature(s) do not have proper ID. An interspousal deed is nothing more than our spouse granting their interest in the property to the other. Sounds like one of your clients have bad credit and the other is borrowing as a married person with the house as their sole and separate property. If you follow your instructions, you will be fine.

Opps, typo

Long Day.

I should have said when the person(s) whose signature(s) you are notarizing do not have proper ID>.

Re: Opps, typo

Although you won't need credible witnesses for ID, if the signers have proper ID cards, you might need one or two witnesses for the signing, depending on which state the property is located in.
