Today I rec'd a call to do a last minute e-doc signing for $75.00...I told them my fee was $85 (which is still pretty cheap)...they said they just had a company meeting and they were "tightening their belts" and that they could only offer me $75.00. Well I refused the signing and they said, "Don't worry...we'll find someone else. !!!!!!!1

Son of a bisket!!!!

Don't know where you are from. If you live in an area with a lot of notaries, you may well not hear from them again. If you are more rural, they may call again. A lot of factors go into what you charge mostly your cost of doing business. I agree that is a low fee. Go out and find other business. Don't do it if you are operating at a loss.

In my opinion, no great loss.

I have issues with this company.

They sent me out twice to correct lender/title company errors on the same set of docs.

Said they could only pay me an extra $25 over what they agreed to pay me.

Since it was local and not far from me, I grudingly said OK.

Check came. No extra $25.

They said that's because it was notary error.

I said.. like hell it was notary error-- IT WAS TITLE CO/LENDER ERROR.

I have the photocopies to prove my point...on that score.

They said they'd call me tomorrow.

If a company's word is no good, the company is no good.

I just did one for them. Last minute edocs and they offered me $85.00. I told her my price she said I was her first call and she couldn't go up without calling around first. 20 minutes later she called back and said she could meet my fee. I did the job on 5/24, received my check on 6/15. Of course, with all the fax backs they require my fee will probably go up if they call me again. I'll have to wait and see if they'll meet my new fee.

I used to do a lot of work for them no problem meeing my fee , was sorry they dropped thier fee so the bottom of the barrel.Now I never hear from them because its not worth it.

Whatever you do...BE FIRM WITH YOUR FEES. Notary Pro most often have NO respect of you as a Notary and your fees otherwise they WILL PAY you your fees. that is just my opinion.

They told me they could not accept my fees and told me they would take me off their database and yet I still get calls from them. They must be desperate...and if so, they need to pay me MY FEE'S....
