OT Okay, I am terrible

school's out.... between dropping off girls at camp, picking them up, waiting during some of the camps ( the 1 hr. ones) and World Cup Soccer, I cross my fingers and hope I don't get too many calls during this month.

Good luck with signings every one....hoping to catch up with the board next month when the World Cup is over. Well phone is ringing , gotta go and Brazil just scored a second goal against Japan .

Jenny, I hear you. My kids were very involved in soccer, through the club and (almost) college level. It became something I really enjoy and (sort of) understand the excitement of other countries that isn't experienced in this country.

I'm so irritated about the US. Landon Donovan was a couple years younger than my kids and played in Redlands. We were a few miles away and saw him as a kid playing...I wish he had been a bit more "on fire" in Germany.

I kept hoping until the last minute that they would tie, but didn't happen. It's funny because I only whatch the World Cup games. My husband makes it to some of the games (the ones to qualify for the WC) and he watches when he can on tv.

I've been fortunate to have jobs that every 4 years I have time to watch them. This year is also nice that they are in the day time, although I have to catch some of them at night ( replays)

Regarding the USA, I thought they played well....the referees made mistakes I think. The Japan vs Brazil was great because they let them play....didn't interrupt the game with fouls.
