OT: Superman Returns!!!

Saw the movie last night in a preview screen. Movie was awesome!!! Went in with low expectations and a lot of Brokeback Superman jokes cuz of Brandon Routh (former soap opera actor). He did a very good job. The movie was very well done. Being a Superman fan, I had a couple issues and winced at a couple of lines (if you've seen the first movie you'll know one in particular I'm talking about i.e. air travel) but they were minor in the larger scheme of things. Beautifully shot and well written with a few surprises. Clocks in at an 8 on the 1-10 scale.

I mean come on. Thats like something a mother (Raymond's) would say. Not mine, but its something someone's mother would say. So I'd like to ask you, at which point did I begin to ramble? Being a movie and film guy I am one that actually takes into account the story and production value of a movie. That said, I stand by my review and I think I'd like to make it a regular thing here. With all the OT threads here, I think a movie review here and there wouldnt be so bad would it? I usually go to movies on opening night so I can post something up on the weekend. What do you think? Let me know.
