Printer Selection
I am a bit indecisive on the following two laser printers as to which one to acquire.. both have good reviews.. Any comments??
HP LJ 1320
Brother 5250 DN
I am looking for one between $200- $400 as a good " starter" printer. Any other recommendations??
Thanks all..

I have the Brother 5250 DN...
I love the printer... no problems with it at all so far (had it about five months). I love being able to print at 30 ppm. This printer is a HUGE improvement over the Brother HL-1440 that I used to have.
I buy my toner cartridges in bulk online... saves time and money.

I have had only good experiences with Brother printers. I have a brother MFC-8500 and a Brother 5250 DN and love them both.

I am using an HP1320. I like it, although next printer I purchase will be a dual tray.

Brother all the way. I have both a Brother and an HP The HP actually cost mor but is slower than the brother and costs me more to run. I will definately get another brother printer next time. If I ever have to. I have had the same printer for 3 years now and originally paid 300.00 for it. It kicks butt......

I use a Brother MFC- 7820 N and it is fantastic. The customer service through Brother is unbeatable as well. When I first bought it, I kept getting the "toner life end" message even though it was a new toner. Not only did they send me out a brand new one (overnight), but they paid for the postage to send the old one back AND let me keep the old toner, AND sent me a new toner seperately for the "inconvenience". I will do business again with them in a heartbeat.

Love my Brother 8220
I have the 8220. Bought a second tray on line at securemart. Buy toner at tonerkits.com.(always have a new one in the closet on reserves).
Printer works like a champ.
I have it networked on a wireless print servers. I print orders from my laptop and the come rolling out of the printer.
Get it on sale at Officemax and buy the replacement plan. If anything goes wrong near the end of three years, they will take it back no questions asked and give you a new one.
