Raid1 - A cure for procrastination and laziness

A dead HD with two months worth of data not yet backup was my punishment for being lazy this week. I'll take my chances of having two HD fail at once from now on with a Raid1 (200GB x 2) mirroring set up. Bye bye backup scheduling.

You *may* want to re-think that strategy. Any number of things can happed to a hard drive, and many of them can take out both HDs at the same time. (Lightning, power surge, etc.) Keep on backing up!

I agree with Rick. I used to have a 2nd drive for backup. It was configured as a slave off the primary drive which failed and took the slave with it.
I'm now investigating Internet backup.

I have an 80 gig external. Love that puppy. Also use Windows One Care to keep up the back up current.
