SOX called today-said they were someone else

but I couldn't understand what she said. Finally she said SOX at which point I replied when they paid me for the one I did last year (by mistake) I might talk to them and then hung up.Boy am I glad I kept asking to repeat their name.Just had one cancel becuse all though everyone knew this man was a Jr. and all his ID w3as JR. and he Never uses anything but JR. whoever typed the docs didn't put it on .The LO was furious, couldn't reach the signing people, and no after hours phone number. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm going to bed and getting up on the other side tomorrow.

I had the same thing happen Saturday afternoon.....phone call from a restricted #...an infantile sounding screechy voiced bimbolina states that she is from " Notary Signing" and inquires as to whether I can go close a loan very close to my house......borrowers have docs....I stated sure for $200- never expecting an OK.....she calls back 5 minutes later from a 949 area code and says the fees been approved. At this point I'm wondering why in the heck someone would pay what I was going to charge for this. I dial the number back to make sure they send the confirmation BEFORE I do it. I hear another screechy little girl say...."SOX signing solutions" I kept on heading to the beach...........

Same here.

Now I check HUD for TC and SS names.

I back out of jobs for jerk companies.

Didn't do this until '06.

As Sully on Third Watch would say "CRAP!"

They did the same thing to me last week

Called three times, three different numbers, three different schedulers, and three times I told in no certain terms would I ever work for them. Fourth calls from a private number, girl says she is from Docs 2 U. Get home, wife printed docs, PO says SOX. Ended up doing through the lender and inhouse title. Nothing lower IMHO...

Re: They did the same thing to me last week

doc's 2 u is located in Santa Ana, Sox is located in Aliso Viejo. I got a order today from doc's 2 u for a signing for tomorrow.

I am well aware they are two companies

Just couldn't believe that they would take the idenity of a different company after the signing was turned down 3 different times in the same day. Alos everytime they called it was from a different number and area code...

To those who still do work for SOX

There have been at least 2 people who've posted in the past few days that they get paid and will continue to work for SOX.

Doesn't Dogmonger's post tell you everything you need to know about this company? They're LYING to notaries about their freaking company name just to fool them into doing signings. You guys really think it's ok to work for a company with these type of ethics just because you eventually get your money?
