Notary in my area is advertising the following:
Standard fee $75 up to 40 miles one way.
Edocs up to 75 pages Free yes you are reading correct free edocs up to 75 pages.

Sad for her/him because that's like working for free. 75.00 its just cost. After that amount its the profit. Dont worry he/she will be out of business pretty soon.

I believe it is exactly as you say. The fees offered are ridiculous. The notaries taking them will be burned out and their business WILL cost them. You cannot make money by spending $75 and earning $75.

And say this person is a partimer who is probably printing the packages on their bosses time, with their bosses printer, paper, toner, and internet connection. Notaries like this are like dogs who chase cars. they make a lot of noise, attract a lot of attention, BUT THEY DON'T LAST LONG:-)

I always wonder how Joe's Body Shop or Sam's Insurance Co. or even ABC Bank would feel about subsidizing XYZ BANK's business with free stuff...paper, toner, machine wear & tear, the employee's time that they are paying for... it's not anywhere near right.
