Saving money on toner

I have an HP laserjet 1300 and I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a company that sells
good refills. I'm paying $72.00 per cartridge for the new ones and I'd like to save a little unless
it's not worth it. I don't want to get into refilling them myself. I appreciate your input!

small story on cartridges

I didn't want to pay the high dollar either Steve, I used a well advertised "low cost" cartridge dealer and was happy happy happy! Then I started looking at how many pages I was getting, instead of the 2,000 I was barely getting 1,100. I found a company here in town that refills them, completely pm's the cartridge and replaces worn wheels etc. The first cartridge they did for me gave me 2950 pages, almost 1,000 more than HP can give me. I was overjoyed and went to the tech and told him that I had heard that cartridges are only good for 2-4 refills. He claims he can do this unlimited times due to his pm's. We'll see, jury is out on that. Having said ALL of that, it's a bonefide guarantee that I'll never find anyone to do it as cheaply as I could do it myself, $6 for a refill kit. I'm going to bite the bullet, order a kit, get Brenda on the phone and attempt my next one! Writing is on the wall!

Kind of store that does refills, etc?

How did you find this store?

Sounds good.

Printer repair shop told me today that reusing cartridges too many times wears down printer parts.

Your method might save me trips to the repair shop.

I have the HP 1300 also, my experience with inkjetsuperstore has been mainly bad, yesterday
had one of their cartridges in and my documents printed with the pages all black, fortunately
had an HP backup and when I put that in the pages printed out correctly. I dont think it is worth it to order from inkjet as things like this happened too many times

I've used printpal.com for years with good luck

The deliver free of charge and don't charge you tax. I get a refill for HP 1300 for about $53.00 and I have never had a problem with any cartridge from them.

Re: imarketcity.com

Try imarketcity.com they sell recycled products. I buy toner cartridges for 1/2 the cost, and inkjet cartridges for 1/3 of the cost of new. I have never had a problem with them.

Get into refilling them yourself. It's really simple and you can do it for less than 10 bucks per cartridge.

Re: I have a Brother Hl 5150DLT & MFC 8440. How you

I have a Brother HL 5150DLT too, and I use tonerkits.com to buy the refills. By the time shipping is included, I pay under $18. It can be messy to refill though. I'm considering using the local Cartridge World for every 3rd refill. They charge $35, but they replace the parts and say that the same cartridge can be refilled 20 times this way.

I am thinking of getting the 1320, I noticed at Office Depot the cartridges are $55.00, big difference in price.
