Silly little processor telling me how to...

complete the Affidavit of Mortgage Loan Closer. First, she tells me I forgot to complete the Ack. and asks me to send one. I email her back to let her know that I did not miss it, the doc does not require Notarization since I am a signing agent not a closing agent.

Silly processor faxes back a scribbled-on doc and tells me that I miss-understood the doc and must Notarize it so that the escrow officer can sign it at a later date. Huh?

Another GAP T-shirt folder turned Mortgage processor in Cali. God, I'm soooo glad I'm gone from there.

After three emails and two phone calls, I told her to take the doc to her legal department so that they could set her straight. It's not my job to educate the unwilling.

Geeze, I'm just disgusted after tonight.

she really wouldn't like me because not only will I not notarize that form, I also won't sign it. It says that we have correctly filled in dates on the RTC and that we have complied with Regulation ???. I haven't filled those dates in because they always come through with the dates and I sure don't know what Regulation whatever states nor am I going to figure it out because my job isn't being sure anything in the process complies with federal regulation. I get the docs provided to me signed and I give the borrowers a copy of those same docs, period. All that said, I've done tons of loans with this affidavit, have never signed it and have never heard one bit of feedback
