So Cal Signing Co update

Just wanted to let those of you waiting for payment a couple of weeks ago, someone had posted a msg "not rec'd payment" and I responded with the info they had overpaid me. I sent So Cal an e-mail with the "overpayment" status and Lisa Bittenr & Hannalore followed up on it and discovered that I had been overpaid and told me to keep the check and just apply the "diff" to my next signing. (I was worried about receiving credit for someone else's work in error). They investigated further and discovered they had actually overpaid me due to a signing which had been confirmed in April '06 however at the last minute (just before printing out the doc's) the borrower contacted them and said they wanted a notary friend down the street from them to be the notary at the signing, so the assignment was cancelled. They did not cancel it in their records..The end result was they actually paid me for a signing that I did not do.
I only wanted to post this msg to let everyone know, it took some investigative work on their end to find out why they had overpaid me, but they did not short another NSA as a result of the overpayment to me....This company has always been fair to me, so if you have any concerns or issues, just send them an e-mail and they will follow-up on it...It did take them a couple of days to respond, but they did check it out.....Smile

Paid me as agreed. A little misunderstanding due to a signing from hell, but they paid as agreed.

Thank you John. Glad to hear someone else acknowledging payment rec'd I don't promote companies, but do believe when there's an issue to try to address it with the Co first. Too many times we've seen lots of posts on Co's that don't pay (& rightfully should be posted as such) but just felt that most of the time we don't see a "post about the good co's " that do pay.
