So Fustrating !!
Took a signing from a company I have not work with in a long time, e-docs were late I printed and got there just in time as not to be late. Name misspelled also had a middle intial on docs,he does not have a middle intital these 2 mistakes was corrected by lines thru and inital and correct. This is the one that caused me to vent here docs has jr. and id does not, nothing he could show mw he was a Jr. no witnesses. I am in Ca. property is in Oklahoma ,I can not id him and complete notary form as Jr. I inform ss as to this and was told at first to just get the signitures and don't notarize, put in a note as to why and they would take care of. ok I can do this dont like it but I can do this ( right) Then they call back and lender has said I had to go ahead and notarize with Jr. and they would attach and affidavit when they get it back ( What????? )I say again I am in Ca. and can not it is against my laws when I can not id him. This is going back and forth and I had enough I will get it signed so the borrower is not in the middle of this any longer he( Borrower )understands about the id problem. So I got it signed but did not fill in the acks. I have left messages with them to call me tommarrow to get it straight. ss said they do this all the time in fact the guy I was talking to said he was a Jr and its not on his id either but was on his docs and his was notarized. Again thats great but you are not in Ca. maybe you can do this in your state.
What is your take on this?? Are they just trying to pull a fast one so they don't have to redo docs? Please excuse spelling errors been a very long 3 days. Thanks

It is your commission on the line, not the TC's or SS's. YOU are in control of the signing and YOU decide if the id is what you need to determine that the person is the same on the id as the docs. Stick to your guns Della, you know what is right. Rengel/Sacramento

Jr. or not Jr.
Why don't you just ask if you can line through the Jr. and sign him as plain old John Smith or whatever his ID says?
