Okay, I guess this is not as stupid a question as some I've seen so here goes....

What do you mean by sock puppet? I'm thinking you're referring to whoever is trying to bait the regulars with silly requests for handouts..... But I hate assuming so I'll ask today's stupid question.

I could probably use the search button and piece it together but what the heck I'm feeling a little frisky. ;-0)

Sockpuppets are people who generally post with a name/handle, but sometimes they also reply to their own post using "Anon". I suppose to try to add credibility... or because they're bored out of their gourds... or are just nuts. Or want to start a riot.
