Think I got their attention?

My email to GetBestNotary:

[e-mail address] wrote:
This is the fifth email I have received from your company. When I did not respond to the FIRST email, what makes you think I am going to sign up from the FIFTH email?
This has now turned into harassment and will be handled as such. If you do not remove me from your email SPAM list, you will be hearing from my attorney.

Rhonda Engel

Their reply:

Dear Rhonda Engel,

We are sorry we are bothering you. We have removed your email address from our database.
Sincerely,
GetBestNotary.com

Where did this GetBestNotary come from in the first place

and what makes them thing anyone in their right mind would pay such an amount for a listing to a new co?

Do you (and other notaries) feel it is ok for new companies/websites/opportunities to email you at all? Or do you feel it is ok to initially email you and at the bottom if you wish to no longer recieve the emails to give you the option to be taken off the list?

I have just started a new venture and want to know how notaries feel about this and how they would like these companies to handle getting the word out to notaries. Of course I do not want to be spamming and or harrasing individuals.

I do understand how frustrating it can be to get emails for the same companies over and over and over because I too have recived them.

Let's here everyone's input.

Thanks!!

One email is fine, 5 in two days is harassment, IMO. It should tell about you, your company and your experience with the notary biz.

Unsolicited email is SPAM anyway you look at it. If you want to contact a Notary, then telephone their business number.
