Three calls in 45 minutes.....
from same ss, same signing, 100 miles r/t outside my base area. They offered a whopping $50 every time. "But the lender only pays us $100". Sorry, no can do. I'll stick with the ones that don't mind paying for my time and experience.
I wonder if this will be yet another that I go clean up after...hmmmm.

I hear you. I got a call about a signing yesterday that was today at 6:30pm EST. I quoted my price and they said they'd call back and never did. I've gotten a couple calls for return trips to clean up messes. The way I see it, they'll learn. Until then, its their money to blow.

How hard is it for them to figure out that if they meet the fee for experience the first time, it usually saves them time and money. They don't have to spend hours on the phone looking for someone and/or pay an EXTRA "full fee" for an experienced SA to "fix the mess".
Do the math! Use the money to pay the SA to do it right the first time. And use the extra time to build up your clientele.

I think i was called for that one too, and i too declined. I told them my time was worth more than $50; and if they wanted to pay me a different fee I would do it. I got the same answer. We only get paid $100. Wonder who did it! How are you? How's your son? email me!

I got called once to fix a messed up signing and the company wanted to pay only a trip fee for it. They said, "Well, this is a re-sign, we are only getting $75, can you break even with us?". I remembered that wonderful line I read some months back and I said to her, "It is not a re-sign due to my error, I would do that for free. I am sorry but I will have to call you back if I can get that fee approved!" :-)
I wonder who they found to do it.
