Trying to order E&O through Not Rot
I checked via the Search button to see what others were saying about E&O insurance, and many said the best rates were on Not Rot.
But when I go to "Notary Supplies" and click on the area on the right side of the screen that says something about "bonds and insurance", my double clicking gets me nowhere and stays on the same screen.
Any suggestions on how to get to the E&O area on Not Rot?

Did you enter your state? I know the frst time I tried to order anything here I didn't realize I had to click on my state first.

I DID put in my state, but nothing came up about E&O.
However, based on your suggestion, I put in the state of California, and when it goes into the next page, the E&O information was displayed. So it's apparently not available for notaries in Michigan.
Thanks!

I'm in NC and E&O isn't required in this state. I have it anyway, but on NotRot, like you, it doesn't even show me E&O. I hate to renew through NNA.

At the time I got my commission, I didn't know NR sold E&O. I purchased mine from my bondng company. Beats the NNA.

I am insured through my bnding co and have recently inquired into raising my E&O. They will go up to 30,000 but want to know ahy I feel I should have that much. I think its a good question!

We aren't bonded in NC either. So I don't have a bonding company to go through. NNA seems to be comparable with the other E&O companies that I've found. I plan on purchasing $25,000 and no more than that.

I was turned down by a title company today because I only had $25,000 E&O. First objection I've had in 2 and 1/2 years. They said if I increase my E&O to $100,000 they will use me.
For all I know, other TC's have not used me for that reason, since I usually send over a copy of my E&O. No one has ever bothered to tell me that, but it could be a factor.

I've never been turned down, and I only have a $10,000 policy. I got the $10,000 because that is all I ever had to have as an escrow officer.

I got mine through American Council of Notaries Public.
