Would you do this ....$50 modification

Would you take these? You are given the borrowers info, you have 3 day window to schedule it, borrower gets docs. It is a modification agreement and a total of 9 pages of docs. Only 1 has to be notarized and should take about 10 minutes of my time. Now they are all in the same area, which is 30 minutes away, but I have a closing there at least 3 times a week.

Would you do these?

time - yes. I would. THAT's sensible...it's just like my lit support work. You do ont he way to something else.

That's how I do most of my drive-by inspections, on the way to another job, on the way home, etc. I even plan my bike trips on the weekends around any inspections I might have. It's a great way to pick up extra $$$

I do these all the time. There are 2 documents to be signed by the borrowers and one is notarized. The entire process takes less than 10 mins. Borrowers are usually just increasing their line on credit and they already know all the details. There is no mention of rates, terms, ect., just point and sign. I would do these all day if I could. I don't take closings for $50.00 ever but for the modifications, it's more than fair.

I agree.I do alot of these and they are very easy.You are .

generally in and out of the borrowers house in 10-15 minutes.. I usually do these on my way to a loan signing,as you generally get 3 days to complete these..

I do these all the time if they are close to where I live, say within five miles, or if they are on my way to somewhere I happen to be going.

I've only had 1 closing within 5 miles of where I live! Most of these would be within 10 to 30 miles. I'd at least be driving by on my way somewhere. (Even the closest grocery store is 12 miles away) There is a nuclear power plant about 1 mile away!

If anyone doing alot of these wouldn't mind sharing your contact with someone who is not your direct competition, I'd honor a confidentiality agreement.

Yes, I live within 1 mile of the most dangerous nuclear power plant in the US, Shearon Harris. I have a nice healthy green glow about me! I figure that if there is an accident, I'll go quickly, and not suffer for days or hours like the people a little farther away in Cary, Raleigh and Durham!
