Yeah....SOX paid and it was on time.

I am happy to report, that I have been paid from SOX. How great! It was for April Signings and they assured me that I will get Paid for May signings July 5th. I am grateful after reading all the terrible things that I have read about these people. I requested once and talked to accounting and I had my check in one week. I had refused to any signings for them until I got paid and they put me right through to Shelly or Sheila. I cannot remember the exact name. I just thought it was another ploy and would never see that check. BUT...I did and I am happy. I will continue to work for them, as they have shown me that they are on the up and up. Just wanted to share the good news.

No kidding. Instead of considering herself lucky she's going to do MORE work for them, even after she's read all of the posts on this board? Ever hear of the phrase quit while you're ahead?

Leslie, you're a fool. Don't come whining to us on this board when you've got 10 outstanding payments from SOX, you'll have nobody to blame but yourself and your own greed.

Wow...you people are nasty. I would be like Leslie and be thrilled to know if you are anyone had success. But alas, there are some people that just are sour on life. I for one am not. I love my job and I love to work. I am an excellent representative of this profession. I am professtional, accurate and kind. Sounds like some of you have been burned out and need to look for something else that pleases you. Why would any of you in the same profession as I, be so hateful? Hmmmmm I have been in the biz for many years. I never get stiffed from Signing Services...sound like to me that you are all envious of her. She had the courage to follow through. This site is not for taking cheap shots...We are to encourage and share a professional bond. I wish you all well, and for me? You can stay on this site and see how many people you are able to bash per day. So now for those who can see this, I am sure will find some kind of garbage to say to me as well. Don't waste your time. It is not worth it.

Um, wrong.

Our comments are not because she actually got paid by SOX. Our comments are because she said she'd work for them again, even though she is well aware of their horrific reputation for screwing the people who work for them. If she had left that part off, you'd see quite a difference in the responses.

**Wow...you people are nasty.**

Then confuses me with:
**This site is not for taking cheap shots.**

What to do, what to do...

Even a blind pig find a acorn every once in a while

You think that they are on the "up and up because they are paying you after 60+ days. They will release some checks, especially before the EOM month to sucker people into taking multiple signings so they can ride you long and hard like a circus pony months upon months. You are either a plant by SOX or you just don't get it:-(

I was gonna say in my post that even a broken clock is right twice a day.

If this is Leslie's idea of running a smart business, I think it's safe to say that Leslie isn't long for the self employed world.

I am always wary of these companies with terminal payment

problems sending their underlings on these boards touting how they have changed, or how now they are paying on time. Just as you said, we have all seen these types of posts over and over and then months later someone is shocked that they have 10 outstanding invoices in the 180 and over column. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame one me:-)

Re: I am always wary of these companies with terminal payment

It would be foolhardy IMHO to take more than two at a time, if any, until paid for them.

Many late, late, late or no pays vs. One good report

=

No SoX for me.

Leslie is very good at her job, she is an excellent signing agent and very dependable.

We all get to run our businesses the way we want, no need to get personal people

Re: I am always wary of these companies with terminal payment

Thank you SoCal. I have been doing work for them and also getting paid on a regular basis. I read the posts, and will take my chances for the small amount of work I do. As the owner of my company this can change at any time......

Exactly what is personal about reminding someone of a very

LONG history of slow or non payment. Everyone is free to run their business as they wish, just as you are entitled to ignore the warnings. If you folks are better at managing the risk than all those of have gone before you, be my guest. We are just reminding you when the house of cards comes tumbling down, don't expect any sympathy when you were warned.
