fees

I am curious. I am wonding if I am undercharging for my trip fees and such. Is there a fee scale that someone can send me, so that I can see if I am being competitive with my fees? Sometimes I worry that I am over charging and that is why I have off-spells of no calls. And then some times I spend so much time on a trip that I feel I am under charging. Thank you so much for your help! Also, do you have any other suggestions of where else I can register to get my name out there for my area?
Thanks!
Meloni

First you might want to start with your profile here b/c it's empty then upgrade to premier if you haven't done so. There is no standard fee scale for what you should charge except to research to see how much competittion you have in your area. This is a business and your fee must be set to where all expenses are justified with some kind of profit margin.

Mel - you are welcomed to email me directly and I'll share what my standard fees are for overnight and edocs (title/escrow & direct lenders) and "mobile calls" for private parties who call me. Of course, they are indicative of my own travel radius and experience as well as the area in which I live here in California.

Ndwa's advice on upgrading your profile is right-on. My opinion is that a positive, upbeat profile is very important, considering it's a "first impression" of you when potential clients are looking for a signing agent. A professional photo added is also paramount (again, just my opinion). I would never, ever ever ever quote my fees on a website or profile since all fees are subject to negotiation. They ask you what your fee is and your reply is, "what's the most you are authorized to pay me?". The worst thing a potential client could say is, "no" and you either take it, negotiate a bit more or leave it. No crybabies allowed in this biz! Smile

Thank you so much for replying. I have upgraded to premium and I have a picture. I guess I will need to write more in the comment section. Any other advice to offer a newbie?
By the way; my email address is [e-mail address]. Thank you so much for the help.
