For paul or anyone with comments on my problem,my pc its an hp all of a sudden things are moving slow and programs are disappearing, sometimes I get a message low or out of resources,I have a lot of memory left. But I was wondering if adding more memory would help. How would I add more resource space ? Hope I am making myself clear. Thanks for any comments.

Yes, more memory will help, but may not cure the problem. You also need to configure the "Virtual Memory" or paging file for whatever version of Windows you are using. The VM uses your hard disk paging file as memory, paging the application in and out as necessary. If you have a highly fragmented hard drive, or a small paging file, or lots of open applications, then you may see the "out of memory" or resources messages because there isn't enough table space to perform the necessary functions for swapping/paging memory.

Nah ....
I consider the key to my success not being that I know everything (heck, I really don't know all that much), but knowing where to find things. I've always liked doing research and seem to have a knack for doing it. Now, if I could only remember all those things.
They say the mind is the second thing to go. But I'll be darned if I can remember what's first.
