very OT - small perspective on workings of Fedx

You have all probably heard about how FedX planes land and depart Memphis Intl Airport in a very short window of time every night, right? Take a look at the video in the link below forwarded to me by my hubby.

Supposed the clip, which compresses an just over one hour's movements into 45s, shows the arrival of around 90 aircraft into the FedEx SuperHub, starting from 11 pm one evening in August 2003, as a thunderstorm approaches.

Thought it was interesting !

Speediest package ever!

I got a call for an emergency signing for a Captain who was on his way to the Middle East and was leaving that morning. I printed docs at 5:00AM and did the signing at 6:15 AM on the Army Base. I dropped the package in the box (Fedex wasn't open) that same morning before 8:00AM (Fedex opens at 9:30). I got a call from the Title Company in California that same afternoon freaking out because the package had just been delivered. We never did figure it out... fluke in the system I guess... pretty cool though!

wow...that was impressive! I've never had a problem with FedEx, they really push it according to that video clip!
