Accusignings : Crooks indeed
Hello all,
Has anyone had any experience with the signing agency Accusignings? If so would you please send me some feedback. My experience was horrible!!! To make a lonog story short, they had not sent a return address nor a Fedex account number to me despite my two requests. The day before the recission date was up, they finally sent the info. However, it was too late for the package to be dropped off at a box in my area. I told them I could travel to the next town for them but they needed to include a travel fee for that add'l service. They never sent the new confirmation. I stupidly sent it anyway trusting they would pay. The next day I questioned about my fee again and the manager Steve Farihna stated that there were missing dates all through the doc and he didn't want to pay the add'l fee. I knew he was lying as I had checked the docs more than once prior to sending. He didn't answer the call that day so I tried again the following day. I asked that he fax over the pages that he claimed were missing dates. He hymed and hahed, and tried to act like I was being indignant by asking for proof ( the 1st sign of guilt!) Anyway after he kept cutting me off I did get indignant, I called the borrower on 3-way who stated that the Loan officer had already received the docs the day before and had stated there were no problems. He was dumbfounded and asked that she call him back w/out me on the line. She refused. He's an outright crook.
Any suggestions on recourse for these slime balls!!!!

Correction! Re: Accusigning (no "s") : Crooks indeed
Sorry all, I just read all of the previous posts and I don't wanna start that up again! Accusigning without the "s" is who I am referring to.

I had success with the following approach when SS was lax in paying me.
I emailed the LENDER with the facts stating that if I didn't receive payment within 7 business days, I would be naming the borrower, the lender and the SS in legal action.
I received a call from the SS within 2 hours assuring me a check was in the mail today...I received the check 3 days later.
I also received a call from the president's office of the LENDER 20 minutes later asking if my payment issue had been resolved.
I'm requiring SS's to prepay through PayPal.
Good luck.

Are the Signing Services actually paying you this way? What % are refusing? I'm curious 'cause I've considered this route also.

If you get one SS to pay you through paypal I'll be shocked.
I hope you have a lot of TC's that give you work, otherwise yoiu've just put yourself out of business.

Thanks SO MUCH! I actually have been on the phone trying to get in contact with the mortgage broker at the Lender's office since yesterday. The lender happens to be my mortgage company as well. I'm hoping that will give me a heads up on getting payment expeditiously! Thanks again!!!

One suggestion in the future; call the loan officer and get an address to send back the docs.
If you can't get an account number just "mark recipient " as the person who will pay and drop it off. One other suggestion is use the borrowers name and information as the sender and this way you won't be charged by FedEx or UPS.

Even better, mark down the SS as the sender and then "bill sender". That will REALLY get their attention. HA! Most SS's use account numbers from the TCs or lenders.
