Never had a problem with them. In fact my husband did a closing for them with a borrower that was extremely difficult. My husband had just eaten before he left and hiccuped during the closing, the borrower offered him a glass of water and then after the closing was over told the Lender my husband was intoxicated! I was so furious over this you can't imagine!! ASC stood by us and our reputation with the company and everything was fine. They pay within or just over 30 days.

Re: American Signing Connection, your opinions, please

Just some info for any of you out there who plan to do signings for this company. I rec a req for signing on the 9th of March @ 12:43 pm for a closing @ 11:00 am on the 10th. I rec the docs 15 minutes AFTER I was supposed to be at a signing. The Borr were not happy to say the least. I was told needed to get docs out that day despite their delay in getting them to me and the rest of my day being behind because of them. I missed an attestation (it does happen to everyone, but this is only my second since starting 4+ years ago). They then requested a blank attestation. Advised I would be happy to sign the original or get another one done from the Borr and overnight at my expense all the way around. Long story short...they refused for 3 days and finally, when I advised them that I would lose my comm per the OFIS in our state and was reporting them to said office, they sent the original to me. Per my discussion with the owner, I have serious doubts about any payment (I would expect to eat the postage) and this company's policies. This was my first closing for them, and she "explained" that their requirements were clearly listed on their website. Sorry, but the agent who booked me never said a word about a website or any requirments. I did email all closing info that evening to my email contact.

I don't want this to sound like sour grapes, but I think I make every effort to be accomodating and professional, but this was not a good situation any way you look at it. Hope you all have better luck if you choose to work with them.

Also, if you have any suggestions (other than the obvious, not to miss a signature) regarding resolution options should something like this happen in the future, I would be most grateful.

(Sorry for the length of the post too!) Tina
