Jason, you had a question about whether a treasurer of an election campaign who is also a notary crosses any lines by notarizing filings for the campaign. The answer is no.

Neither the elections law nor the notary public law say anything about this, and the Secretary's office does not find any conflict, unless the notary would benefit directly or financially as a result of any of the filings he or she notarized.
